İzmir Airport Transport Options: VIP Transfer, Taxi, Havaş and İZBAN
There are four main ways to get from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) into the city or to the resorts: a private VIP transfer, a yellow taxi, the Havaş airport bus and the İZBAN suburban train. Short answer: travelling alone with hand luggage to the city centre, İZBAN is cheapest; for two or more people, big luggage, night flights or resorts such as Çeşme and Kuşadası, a fixed per-vehicle VIP transfer is usually faster and often cheaper per person.

Which one should you choose?
- Solo, light luggage, daytime, city centre: İZBAN or Havaş is the most economical.
- 2-3 people or an address outside the centre: because the transfer is priced per vehicle, it is often close to or below the taxi fare – and you know the price in advance.
- Families, big luggage, child seats, night flights: a door-to-door fixed-price transfer is the most comfortable choice.
- Resorts (Çeşme, Kuşadası, Selçuk): Havaş charges per person, so for 3-4 travellers a VIP transfer (from 2.250 TL per vehicle) is usually better value.
