The two terminals are connected by a covered walkway, so transferring between an international arrival and a domestic departure does not require going outdoors or taking a bus.
Both terminals have a security screening at the entrance doors, which is standard practice at Turkish airports. 1. Passport control: After disembarking an international flight you follow a single corridor down to passport control. EU, UK and most visitor passports use the "All Passports" lanes; holders of Turkish IDs and eligible e-passports can use the faster e-gates on the left.
