A prestigious journey from Istanbul Airport (IST) to the historic Ottoman capital, Bursa. Experience the speed of the Osmangazi Bridge, arriving at your destination in roughly 2 to 2.5 hours without the stress of urban traffic.
For long-distance transfers, the quality of the chauffeur and route planning is as critical as the vehicle itself. On this roughly 190 to 200-kilometer corridor, our specialized Mercedes Vito fleet ensures you never feel the length of the road.
Instead of circling the Gulf, we save time via the world’s fourth longest suspension bridge, offering you unique Marmara views.
Direct service to Bursa Industrial Zones (NOSAB, DOSAB) and Nilüfer business centers, matching your professional standards.
Generous luggage capacity for your winter holidays; secure and sanitized transport for ski gear and heavy equipment.
There are, in practice, two ways to drive this corridor, and the difference between them is significant. The direct route crosses the Gulf of İzmit on the Osmangazi Bridge, the fourth longest suspension bridge in the world, then continues south through Orhangazi and Gemlik into Bursa. According to route-distance data from independent mapping sources, this crossing runs approximately 185 to 205 kilometers and takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours in normal traffic, which is why nearly every scheduled transfer, ours included, is built around it.
The alternative is the older overland path around the full curve of the Gulf of İzmit, via İzmit and Yalova, which avoids the bridge toll entirely. Based on the individual road segments that make up this route, the total distance runs closer to 250 to 270 kilometers, meaningfully further than the bridge crossing, and the drive typically stretches to 3.5 to 4.5 hours or more once slower roads through town centers are factored in. Some travelers still choose it to skip the toll or during rare bridge closures, but for a timed airport pickup the hours saved by the bridge are difficult to justify giving up.
Bursa served as the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, and that history is still visible in the city center rather than tucked away in a museum. It is worth knowing what waits at the end of the drive, even on a straightforward airport transfer.
Twenty domes and a central ablution fountain make the Grand Mosque the anchor of Bursa's historic bazaar district, a short drive from where most of our transfers drop off in the city center.
Rising directly above the city, Uludağ is one of Türkiye's best-known ski destinations in winter and a cable-car escape from the heat in summer. Our vehicles carry ski and snowboard gear at no extra charge.
The Çekirge district has drawn visitors for centuries for its thermal baths, and several of the city's best hotels still build their spas around the same natural hot springs.
Koza Han, in the old bazaar, was once the center of the regional silk trade and still trades silk goods today. İznik, famous for its historic tilework, sits within reach for travelers extending their trip beyond Bursa.
If you are instead landing at Sabiha Gökçen, on Istanbul's Anadolu side, your route and driving time to Bursa will differ, since that airport sits much closer to the bridge approach already. For the details specific to that airport, see our Sabiha Gökçen to Bursa transfer page.
Door-to-door service to luxury residences and hotels on Bursa's modern side.
Direct access to the Great Mosque (Ulu Cami), Inns District, and boutique city hotels.
Fast and secure intercity transfer to seaside resorts and ferry ports.
Your Istanbul Airport (IST) to Bursa VIP transfer begins well before your driver reaches the terminal. Once your reservation is confirmed, we log your flight number and track it in real time, so a delayed or early landing never leaves you waiting, and never leaves your driver missing your arrival. At the arrivals gate, your chauffeur waits with a name board and carries your luggage to the vehicle himself. There is no scramble for a taxi queue, no shared shuttle, and no guessing which counter to look for.
Pricing on this corridor works on a simple principle: fixed and transparent. The rate you are quoted at the time of booking is the rate you pay at the end of the journey, regardless of traffic on the Osmangazi Bridge approach or how long check-in took at the airport. There is no meter running in the car, and bridge tolls, highway fees, and airport parking are already built into your quote. Night arrivals and public holidays are treated the same way; the price does not shift because the clock does.
Long-distance transfers reward a different kind of driving than short city hops, and our drivers are chosen with that in mind. They know the Osmangazi Bridge approach roads, current conditions on the O-5 and O-7 sections, and how the drive changes with rain, fog over the gulf, or winter ice near the bridge deck. Every transfer runs in a Mercedes Vito VIP vehicle, with leather seating, climate control, and a luggage compartment sized for winter sports gear or several large suitcases, so the roughly two-hour drive stays comfortable rather than something to endure. Corporate travelers can request an invoice, and our drivers are used to business schedules that need precision rather than a rough estimate.
If your trip also includes time inside Istanbul itself, whether a hotel transfer, a business meeting, or an evening out before your Bursa leg, our Istanbul VIP transfer service covers the city's districts and hotels with the same fixed-price approach.

Istanbul Airport to Bursa is approximately 185 to 205 kilometers via the Osmangazi Bridge, the fastest option at roughly 2 to 2.5 hours in normal traffic. Driving the long way around the Gulf of İzmit adds real distance and time, so nearly all of our transfers use the bridge route.

Your driver waits at the international arrivals gate holding a sign with your name. We also share his phone number in advance, so you can reach each other directly if the terminal is busy or the gate is hard to spot.
