Access to the airport is provided by municipal buses, taxis, private vehicles and car hire options. Important note: There is no Havaş shuttle service at the airport.
The Ç8 line, covering the Nusrat Yurdu, İskele and University routes, is scheduled according to flight times. Route: Sanayi, Esenler, İskele, Atatürk Cd., Cuma Pazarı, Airport, Courthouse, University. Fare (2026 estimate): Full fare 30 TL (a city travel card is required).
Taxis operate 24/7 at the exit of the terminals. According to the current 2026 tariffs, the opening fee is 100 TL, 50 TL per kilometre, and the minimum fare (pick-up and drop-off) is 200 TL. Popular routes: Centre-Airport approximately 163 TL, Centre-İskele approximately 100 TL, Centre-Kepez approximately 251 TL.
The bus schedule depends on the flight, and the taxi runs the meter on top of a 100 TL opening fee.
