Architecture of the Impossible

Built directly opposite the Anadolu Fortress to cut off aid coming to Byzantium from the Black Sea. Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror assigned the construction of each main tower to one of his Pashas (Halil, Zağanos, and Saruca Pashas) and personally worked on the site to ensure maximum speed.

Hidden Detail: The Name "Muhammad"

It is rumored that when viewed from a bird's eye perspective, the fortress is designed to form the name "Muhammad" in Arabic calligraphy. This architectural genius served both defense and a spiritual message.
